Your session includes 10 minutes for consultation and dressing time + 60 minutes of lymphatic drainage massage. Lymphatic massage is indicated for treating lymphedema in cancer patients . Lymphatic drainage is helpful in treating swelling due to lymph node removal or liquid imbalance while providing relief in pre/post cosmetic procedures by alleviating pain, congestion, hardening and swelling. The session consists of a rhythmic wave-like and circular massage, the goal is to stimulate the lymphatic body fluid to increase tissue diffusion while reducing pain and swelling, stimulate the immune system and bring about a serene homeostatic bodily and mental state. Aromatherapy with essential oils is included. Massage is performed with a variety of products depending on the work being done. Depending on the discussion during the assessment the following products may be used: • *Soothing Touch herbal lavender lotion which offers more absorption and is enhanced with Aloe, Almond Oil and Vitamin E. • *Soothing Touch fragrance free massage lotion with organic Aloe Vera Gel and pressed Sunflower Seed Oil. • Suave Professionals Dry Body Oil Spray Moroccan Infusion Tools may be used to achieve desired muscular relief such as trigger point, cups and percussion machine. *Soothing Touch products are made in New Mexico, USA and contain No Synthetic Flavors, No Petroleum , No Parabens.
